  • Going to make feijoada on the weekend, anyone know where I can get smoked pork shoulder, smnoked pork belly, smoked pork ribs, smoked sausage and ndjua, in Brixton/South London ways? Was thinking the Colombian butchers in Brixton Market, but have never really looked at their wares so am unsure if they'd have it, and don't have a lot of time to be heading from one place to another, just on the off chance.

  • Never noticed smoked stuff in that butchers but you could always ask them where to go to find some... Buy some sausages while you're there, obvs...

  • I'm drawing a blank corny, I'd use William Rose in Dulwich and the place on Forest Hill but don't recall seeing smoked goods.

  • Sorry Corny I don't know where to buy that stuff, only make it. If you find nduja tho, pls tell me! I have noticed various dried/smoked things handing up in the shops on electric avenue, never been bold enough to find out what's what though!

  • Do Las Americas have a butcher too? I know they have sweet treats and Colombian snacks, but sure I've seen a butcher in there sometimes.

Large shop next-door has just started selling their own ice lollies. Guava & cheese is one flavour. I'm very intrigued.

  • In case you're still after nduja I've stumbled upon some fresh imported today at my trusted italian dealer "Da Mario" in Highbury
