Where'd you get the batts from? I'd planned to get some Lithiums for my etrex backup GPS but looks like I'll need more now. I have a Gomadic and a 6400mah Anker cell but I'll probably buy a bigger LiIon cell for the Garmins.
I can't stand my Hope light. I like that it uses AA batteries but it just turns off with no warning so I'm always scared to rely on it. I'll probably take my two big Exposure lights - they're heavy as fuck but last for ages and stupid bright if you need them to be. Actually no, I'll probably take the big Exposure and use the Hope as a backup, because AA batteries...
Anyone know what that lens cover was that Mike Hall had on his TransAm bike? It's like a beacon filter to disperse the light more.

Is the new bike not working out?
I'm using a hope V1 as main light with a cateye as backup (same as PBP and UK audaxes). I've just spent £45 on a stash of lithium disposable batteries to fuel the setup + my garmin. They're pretty light.
