Guardialo has a reputation for improving players and getting the best out of them on a consistent basis, Jerome Boateng being a good example. Stones looks a better player than Boateng was at the same age, although maybe it's harsh to judge Boateng on his time at City because it was clearly the wrong move for him at that stage of his careeremphasized text. Is Barkley as good as someone like This go? Obviously not, but he has the talent to be a very good player with the right coach.
