That's the thing, they looked good under him but not really on a regular basis.

But they didn't look good under Martinez though. Stones was told to piss about with the ball and not go past the halfway line and Barkley was told to pass sideways - still scored 12 goals though in a shit season

Amazing though really isn't it. The 2 best managers in the world/Prem are fighting it out over Stones and Hodgson sits him on the bench behind Chris fucking Smalling!?!

I honestly don't see what all the fuss is about with those two.
For now I'm going with overrated and overvalued.
You honestly think they're the type of players that are going to win you a CL or even the PL.
