I bought a Boardman frame from eBay a couple of weeks ago and when it arrived the rear triangle was squashed. Bit of a bummer really. (Insert angry quip about delivery companies)
Thankfully I got refunded, so I'm looking to get rid of it
I contacted Spire Cycles about getting it retracked and got this response
Mitch,
It possibly could be re tracked but will be severely weakened and it's life span will be significant reduced, that is if one of the tubes doesn't fail during tracking.
Kind regards,
Matt Gibbons.
You could chop it up and turn it into a light fitting or you could bend it back by hand and ride it until it fails or hang it on a wall.
The rear triangle has been squashed to about 90mm
