he might have (i doubt it) that rear sus set up with lots of sag. amazing bike otherwise

As long as there aren't any obvious issues with the fork / brakes / wheels I'd say a more than a fair price

It is 15-20 year old kit tho...

Check the fork holds air / lockout works / no squishy noises etc

Yes perfectly the forck system has been changed 1 year ago, no squishy noises...
I'm going to fit it and take pictures soon

Fork needs some air. Pop the front wheel out - there's a valve in the bottom of the fork crown. Any Shock pump will do, get it up to 80psi or so then tune to your weight.
