Now that our (up until very recently) EU commissioner, Lord Hill, has felt it necessary to resign, there is a vacancy at the table.
Maybe it would be a good idea if Mr Johnson were ordered to step up to the plate and fill this vacancy. He would be compelled to go to Brussels and share a platform with the very people he campaigned against, and it would be his job to attempt to sweep up the godawful mess he has helped to create.
