But no markings at all means a (lack of) development fuck up, not camera user error.

Sorry, you are quite right.

Trawling the back catalog of XA shots as I'm trying to do a write up for on it. Found a few shots I liked and hadn't shared.

Really like the 2nd and 4th. Does the XA have autofocus or are you just good at focusing on the move?

Thanks, they are my two favourites of the 5. These are all zone focused and either F5.6 or F8, giving quite a it of DOF to play in, don't get me wrong, I miss focus badly on some shots but I've got this pretty well nailed with the XA.

Torn on what to do with my mju ii, I'm still getting a lot of out of focus shots, but the shots I am getting are banging... Maybe I should try and get another one...

Here are some, it looks like it has focused at the minimum distance for what ever reason?

A shame it doesn't focus reliably.
Some really nice shots from your rides! Like the ones at the beach, and the portrait especially. -

Popped in to Camera Club in Southwark earlier... Really cool place.
£120 per year (£60 for students) and £5 per hour for using darkrooms... It's been years since I've developed film but am now tempted to shoot loads of Tmax and play around with chemicals...

I've spent a lot of time with mjutooose and this is very weird. I've never had it it default to close focus. If there are focus issues it's usually that it misses the fore/mid-ground subject (focusses on the background/infinity instead).
The active af is still pretty ok at night, in gigs, caves, tents and other dark places. The passive systems on more modern compact digitals cameras are no better IME.
Is there a case, strap or finger getting in the way of the IR window near the viewfinder?
I love the portrait at the end of your 1st post. The good shots are ... really good.

Kennington...
I used to live so close to it (not any more) and didn't know, it looks great. I've been an on/off member of photofusion for many years as it's the only amateur colour darkroom I could find, but camera club definitely looks worth checking out.

In other words: was rewinding over too quickly, a symptom of the film not being taken up and advancing?
