  • Urgh - pet hate of mine. Told someone off for dropping litter in a park once and they complained about me having a go at him in front of his kids. Yeah - I'm the one being a bad example to them.

  • No one likes to be told off even if they are blatantly in the wrong and you are blatantly in the right.
    Could be a dangerous car driver with their mates /girlfriend/mother/kids in the passenger seat.

  • I'm always a bit nervous of who someone like that might be. If I tell them off for dropping litter they might get aggressive and I might get hurt. Is it really worth the risk?

    I think it's therefore safest to say nothing at all and to just move directly to smacking them hard in the face. By getting in first you can often avoid them getting violent at all.
