If you're in the EU it'll just top out at £x/day and if you're outside the EU in one of their specified countries it'll top out at £4.99/day, no? I presumed you don't need to do anything, they're basically just telling you they've created daily caps for some countries instead of charging the crazy £6/mb rate.
Cheaper to use their default roaming rates (EU regulated) than buy the daily package (unless using loads of data)
