May is horrible but at least she has the nerve to tell the cops federation conference to clean up their fucking act. As someone who experienced an aggressive stop and search a couple of years back, it was good to hear someone in power not giving them a blanket pass on their bullshit.

George RR Martin is taking notes.

Ha! My very first thought, just reread the last few pages...
However, I am still what the actual fuck?

Boris didnt have the backing of the party or the backing of the papers. I think he realised he couldnt win. Or if he did win it would be very shortlived.

and lost weight.
Was that really necessary?
Yes. Absolutely.
I'm predicting the next Tory leader.
Making a female politician loose weight, have a new/better hair cut, and revamp her style and wardrobe in our political environment is a clear indication of political grooming.
It was in no way saying only skinny women should be allowed in politics or an endorsement of the hoops female politicians have to jump through.

It's certainly illuminating to see so many MPs of both sides showing their true colours - greed, lies, stupidity, dishonesty etc and so on. Will be interesting to see the few that can rise above and come out not looking like pondlife.

I'd like to think he didn't stand because he didn't want leaving the EU and the break up of the union as his political legacy...
I have no idea why Gove is standing, he's like a really useless super villain... Or Rick Moranis's character in Ghostbusters...
Bonkerz...

Clear some space. We're going to need to lay low at yours until the fake documentation can be made. You're good with potatoe-chop. You can sort us out.

Nah.
Jb000 nailed it.
The party was never going to let it fly. The Torys will use him as a fluffer.

He knows the negotiating position is screwed. Has to keep the banking passports and so we will have to accept pretty much whatever other concessions EU wants to retain them. Losing the banks to France/Germany would be the end.

Gove doesn't seem too confident in his own abilities...
-
• #3441
This is old, but but good.
Let's see if the press barons run with Gove's "weirdness" in the same way they did with Milibands.

Surely the man (Gove) is unelectable?
Also, still, WTAFIGO?

Good enough to fool Facebook... That's Mr Sticker to you...
I probably broke several hundred laws doing that...

Nice. £75 quid though, bit elitist
Yup. I think this pretty much sums up the situation.
