100% Gove has played this well, but the more I look at it the more I think it will be Theresa May.
My view on this has also been hugely swayed by someone I know in Westminster saying well before the Referendum that May had already been pipelined and would be kept out of the Referendum debate.
She has held senior positions, is anti-immigration, and lost weight. Seems like a front runner to me.

Yes. Absolutely.

I'm predicting the next Tory leader.

Making a female politician loose weight, have a new/better hair cut, and revamp her style and wardrobe in our political environment is a clear indication of political grooming.

It was in no way saying only skinny women should be allowed in politics or an endorsement of the hoops female politicians have to jump through.

Fwiw I read it as you meant it, not at all like whoever disparaged someone's wife using her appearance a few pages back. (How do you do not sarc on the interwebs)
