I've plumped for Panasonic eneloops for the time being.
Who new that charging was such a big deal too? Can't just use any old charger - has t o be an intelligent charger, or you reduce the life of the battery.
Wow.

Charger needs to be lined up so the batteries are North/South rather than East/West too.
-

How should the charger be oriented?

Suggestions for a reasonable hybrid type thing I can shove panniers on a give 0 fucks about for work?

If a frame has all the features you want and probably fits but all pictures of it built up are at straight to anti >>> it's best to unwatch and forget about it right?

Yes fam.

I'm fond of Edinburgh Bike Coop's revolution courier series of bikes. You can go dirt cheap with v-brakes or pay a little but more and get disc brakes.
I've seen some snobbery about them around here but you're hard pressed to get a better bike for such little outlay if buying new. BSO's they aren't. They're bomb proof.

My friend had the belt drive singlespeed, was pretty impressive for the money at the time (£500), suffer from small tyres clearance tho.
edit £299 is pretty impressive for this;

I'm thinking try and hold off for the ikea bike as apparently that's in the next month or so.
-
• #77211
Apparently delivery dates have been pushed back whilst they add a bracket to secure it to the wall.

Cross-bracing still in the works too I'll bet.

Garmin Vector Parts
I need a battery cover / holder for my vector 1 pedals (probably the same as Vector 2???). Any suggestions please?

See current projects for my Scott road bike that Google says is an otp halfordsesque special but I've built into a rad road rat. If you're like skrtluv and anything you touch turns to anti then it's best to leave it though

Anyone have a 31.8mm -> 28.6mm shim for a 6700 band-on front derailleur? Apparently it's the same part for all of the 6700, 5700 and 6600 series mechs and I can't see why it should be much different for any other types. Happy to pay in beer!

No idea, but I'd be interested in the answer too.

Am I correct in thinking that a Rotor 30mm crank axle can be made to work with a standard BSA bottom bracket using one of their BSA30 bottom bracket cups?

Does anyone know the right way to put together a hirame style pump adaptor? I think mine is reassembled incorrectly because it doesn't lock on properly.
-
• #77220
From right to left is how they're inserted into the head, and then the outer piece is screwed on, but it still hisses when I pump. What does the screw at the top do?

How much cheaper since the pounds have fallen?

I know small clearances get some people on here really hard, I'm not one of those, I want a general consensus:
What does a clearance like this say?
1) This chap knows how to set up a bike really well, i mean just look at that clearance!
2) This bloke clearly has no idea what they're doing, what a novice. I mean just look at that clearance. -

What kind of drop outs does the frame have.

Judging by the over-long valve stem and superfluous lockring on it, I vote "2".
I've had Eneloops for a few years, they're a vast improvement over what was available in the past, though I don't know if they're the "best".
