BB clearance look pretty generous especially on a CX bike.

Yeah. Lower portion of the seat tube is pushed forward.

It's interesting - I'd like to ride one. I imagine, coming from a more traditional bike, it would be like going from a traditional 29er to the F-SI or Scalpel. Bit of a 'holy shit' moment.
