I get it, but then I kind of think that most guitar shops would benefit from having a mirror in them...
No real difference between having a favourite colour or a preference for crazy grained woods is there?
Is the Tokai a nitro finish? there's the freezer trick, though I'm not sure that cracks in an age appropriate way. Gil Yaron attacks the finish with a razor to put scratches in - somewhat labour intensive but amazing results.
edit: thinking about it - with a set neck I'm not sure how you'd get it in the freezer :)
