Once I decided to go for it I thought about issues with fading and rather than set out to prevent the fading/blurring effect (if it exists? I was a newcomer) why not have a tattoo that is supposed to look faded and blurred. I wanted flowers so chose an antique French wallpaper print. Seems to have worked.
