Very much looking forward to this. Hope this is the tour that Quintana finally betters Froome

I would love it to be as good as the Giro, but I don't think it will.
Hope DD have a good race and old favourites like Adam Hansen, Stevo and Gallopin to get a stage or two.
Hope the bloody motorbikes behave too.

When you realise there is a Westerly wind gusting to 55 km/h, that stage map takes on a whole aspect.

Eurosport the home of cycling, yes they have Carlton but they also have King Kelly.

If you pay for Eurosport player online, you can access commentary free (and commercial free) cameras, and they've got multi-cam stuff going on too. Kirby is annoying granted.

OK, went for Eurosport. Already seen two ad breaks in the last 15 minutes.
Would have been happy to pay more for ad free telly.

Agreed, but at least they distribute the adverts, and on a stage like Ventoux will not show any adverts whilst the action on the mountain is happening. They're at least sensible with these things.

Plus you can purchase for 1 month and unsub afterwards (though I usually pay from the Spring Classics through to the end of the grand tours).

I just switch to the advert free channel during the ad breaks, look for the channels under E1 and E2...
...but as velocio says, they do a pretty good job of getting adverts out of the way before important bits.
