Decided I'm gonna relic my Tokai Les Paul TV (cuz I'm bored with it looking so new), not sure I'm gonna go totally down the Thunders route but it is tempting, I just wanna knock the shine back and put a few dings in it... Tim at Tym's has a 1985 Custom Shop R4 that he bought off some Japanese punk rock kid and I swear it looks about a hundred years old, the crazing on the gold paint is magnificent... So I'm gonna try out the leave it next to a sunny window then hair drier/air duster spray technique...
Don't think I'm gonna go this far...
This is what she looks like now, 15 years old and barely a mark on her... Just ordered another Mick Brierley P90 for it and changing the knobs, wrapover, truss rod cover (and maybe pegs, tho I might just stick Grovers on there) to OG style...
