Fuck this day.
Bastard of day in office and then after a week spent degunking and generally fettling a Dawes Horizon/Galaxy tourer I bought, I discover this!
Three basically sewing needle sized holes in frame. Great. :(

For those of you thinking of painting with Montana Gold, here's some forks and other bits sprayed with gold chrome. Important to flat any paint you have underneath and go easy with first coat, but works a treat. Full project here: https://www.lfgss.com/conversations/287444/

looks like something you could fill with hot brass and cover with a rattle can pretty easily. Also, the seat tube is the tube that takes the least load in a frame.

I'm looking for a strong 28'' 36h rear rim for my touring bike with rim brakes.
Does anyone know anything about the quality of the DT Swiss 535?

Currently fitting pelago commuter front rack, got no eyelets so using axle fitting, but am on QR on front so it seems all the weight will be on the skewer. Kosher? Not kosher? Am I going to need a dentist?

Xtreme Airline 3 sold by Rose Bikes is a good alternative to DT535 but it now shows as sold out. It's their regular item so I think they will have the rims back in stock again soon. I also used the Airline 2 rims which is no longer available and I was very pleased by the strength of it at even high spoke tension.

You brought three bikes to Montreal?
Here I am supposed to post something funny and clever in response to Gaston's comment, yes?
