What is the forum approved 1/8 chain

hi what are the best 1/8 chains?

I need a new one for my fixed winter trainer, want to get something half decent that won't let me down out in the middle of nowhere .

For me personally, KMC Z510 HX.

There's a thread for this. Tester's already answered it.

I use only Izumi. I think they are brilliant. No failures, long lasting. Can be a bit rattly though.

Testers is wipperman 1R8 iirc and a lot of others' is kmc 510hx

I found the Connex 1R8 at Acycles half price.

and as I needed another chain I've ordered a backup KMC Z510HZ from Wiggle as ther returns are nice and easy.

Just remembered I have a "TT use only" 1R8: I'm 3/32" now, so it's available if you get stuck.

Are there any changes to what the best 1/8 chain is ?

I'm really happy with the 1R8^

My frame will snap before the chain does.

I've got the Izumi one and it's f***in noisy. Don't think it will break, though.
