Anyone ridden the new Dale track? I'm considering getting one on insurance, and they're selling them locally for 45% off at the mo. How do they size up?

They sized up like a track bike, so long and low.

maybe able to get a caad 9 with campag for a fair price, are they any good?

Good? Yes. Old design that pre-dates modern wide rims? Yes. BB30 versions with the Premium fork are the ones to look out for.

Took the SuperSix Evo up and down Mont Ventoux last Thursday. It definitely handles much better on the descent than my old Ribble, even with the spacer stack (I need it, I'm old). Managed 69 kph and overtook a couple of cars and a campervan on the bit between the summit and Chalet Reynard.

I did 92kph on my Caad10 down a hill in Kent...

Which one? I'll have to give it a go... 69 kph felt pretty scary, although it was very windy.

That would make sense, considering I have so little cash right now! 130mm 10 degree X4 - what's the going rate? £35 posted? May take a week or so for the new stem to arrive.
