Just noticed that one of the lugs is actually quite worn compared to the others, the bar is right on the edge of it. Might have to limit how much I wear it after all :(

They can be repaired by laser-welding, fortunately. On my one, the fixed bar was removed and re-fitted closer to the centre of the watch as one corner cracked. Not too much to worry about. Just don't smack it off anything.

Great, good to know. I imagine it'll last a while longer, seeing as it's been through a war and 40+ years of daily wear so far...
