This thread is moving too fast for me so maybe this has already been covered, but surely article 5 of this is utterly unenforceable from a legal perspective. The referendum was advisory and not legally binding, and thus the UK government is free to chose whether or not to act upon the results. To trigger article 50 the moment that Cameron 'notifies the eu of the result' is lunacy. He would be perfectly within his rights to say "the people voted out, but we plan to ignore them and stay in" or more likely "the people voted out, but we haven't yet decided whether to accept their advice... we'll let you know".
