Anyone know how mack hubs work? I have a bit of play in my front wheel and can't see any obvious way to adjust it

Would it be criminal or tasteful to remove the decals from my Hed Jet 6 wheels
Tasteful

• #77180
Aye, tasteful!

Can anyone suggest some new pads for my cantis - I don't really want to buy new ones at the moment as they work fine but wouldn't mind upgrading the pads.

Buy V-brake pads and V-brakes to put them on.

Or koolstop.

I think they look nice as a stand alone, but when added to a bike, a bit too much. Especially so in my case as its already a zebra bike. Am leaning towards removing. Just hope I don't regret as its over 60 quid (!) to get replacements.

What bike is that?
-
• #77186
I think you need to be more sophisticated, leave the rear as is, spray front white then remove the decals to leave black lettering.
-
• #77187
Not sure. I tried to have a look once but the stealthiness was just too much.
-
• #77188
Yep, koolstop.
-
• #77189
Definitely remove. Or get black decals.

looks good on my bike I think

Just bought some mini-Vs instead, around the same price

Recommended phone screen replacers in central? It's a Motorola Moto G.
I've replaced screens myself in the past but if you don't seat them perfectly they're way more susceptible to go again and I'd rather just pay someone to get it right.

Don't do it. They'll look like every other Chinese carbon rim.

This is also true, but in my mind the lesser of two evils.
The right answer is probably black decals. But I just can't bring myself to spend 60 quid on some stickers.
Am tempted to try the diy mask it up and spray it myself on a single decal as a test and if it looks shite take the hit and replace the one decal.

Then they'll look like DIY rattle-canned Chinese carbon rims.
HED decals are sick! Black on black for a less shouty option.

Problems with SPD-SL cleats.
The yellow corners stuck on the cleat have sheared off completely on my last three pairs rather than wearing down gradually. Never used to do this. Is this happening to others? I don't think I'm doing anything differently - pedals and shoes are the same etc.
-
• #77199
aren't the yellow corners just rubber patches for grip? ie. they are designed to be worn off, so it's possibly more down to the way that you walk?

What rechargeable AA and AAA batteries should I be buying, and what charger?
I'm guessing AAs should be 2000mAh or higher
Best decals going
