Anyone could help identifying this frame? Cyclocross, French threaded, pugnat victoire lugs and clumbus matrix(cromor) tubes, back of the fork and botlecage holes doesn´t seem original.

If the PCD is 135mm, then it's Campagnolo, or at least Campag. spec.: Miche are the only people I can think of who produced Campag. spec. cranks and I'm not sure they made a triple.
With those markings on the back, they're 1995 or later: before then, they would have had the crank length, pedal eye threading and a date code.
The shape of the cranks around the crank bolt indicates that they are from the bottom half of the range. Campag. didn't make a triple for every groupset, nor were they all offered in black so you should be able to pin it down, if you're that bothered.

Thank you very much, I'll look briefly into it.

The frame in the front claims to be made of 753 tube, and yet it's got touring and canti fittings - that doesn't compute does it !?
Thanks for any ideas on this - I'll check frame number etc on Saturday.
Having an image problem, this is the eBay listing

Hi,
I'm having trouble identifying this frame. It was repainted before I bought it. A sticker on the head-tube said "Deschamps". Also there was a Reynolds 501 sticker on the front of the down-tube. The bottom bracket is English threaded. The seat post is most likely 26.6mm (I bought the bike without a seat post). The frame came with RX100 road group set, if that's relevant...After inspecting the paint job closely I found some spots of the original dark metallic red paint job (at least I think it was original), not covered with black plain paint and lacquer. One of those spots was around and under the Reynolds 501 sticker, so this might be a 501 frame.
The lugs are "BCM" as you can see in this photoMore large size photos here:https://www.flickr.com/photos/90381157@N03/sets/72157667355584233

I hope this query is okay in this thread. I'm trying to date a C-record pista crankset. I've read up on the Campag dating system but it doesn't quite fit the numbers on my set. I assume the P stands for pista? Anyone have a [00] crankset? Cheers

Hi, yes P = Pista and most are 165mm.
I don't have any '00' batch numbered cranks, but it's not a reference I recognise from the 80s / early 90s (got several sets of cranks from these years). The crank design lasted from 1984 - now with different graphics.
At some point the numbering may have changed to the year (my 04 Veloce cranks are marked `04') - so it could conceivably be year 2000,
Interesting chain ring - all the catalogue shots for the pista group have the chainring with the cut outs.

Chainring is correct, it's 49t with no space for the cutout. I've never seen a 00 in square and the internet doesn't help dating it either. But can't be 2000 as it's not the modern branded version, but a second generation with engraved logo.

Yeah i've definately seen this chainring with this version crankset before. I was under the impression that it's a v3 though. I believe v2 is the same lasered logo but further up the arm.

I'm not sure what yeah they switched to the current style of logo but i think this particular set is earlier than 2000. I hope it is too because it's for a late 80's frame. I have another set coming from the states that i believe is v2 1986 which might suit better. Cheers

It's definitely the 2nd gen. 1st had the engraved logo and further up the arm, 2nd was laser etched - those were part of the C-Record group. 3rd and current (modern) gen. has the Record logo and is a part of the Record Pista group - as it's now called.

Anyone have any idea what this bike is like? Looks like a perfect one for a bit of a tear down and rebuild but not sure if a decent bike in the first place. It is a Jack Diamond Falcon I believe from around the 1980s. Thanks
