What the chainline of the SRAM crankset?
I have good result using the Shimano Alfine chainset with the belt in the past.

Yes, Ed, I believe it's because Alfine chain set is made specifically for super narrow Alfine hub chain line, but they do look shit imo.
SRAM doubles should be 41/46mm for inner/outer respectively, with Alfine at 44 it shouldn't have worked. But with front sprocket in inner position belt line was clearly at the angle towards frame / bb, so moving sprocket out seems to have fixed it

Tonight's result:
Specialized AWOL x Alfine x belt drive - 1
Scorch - 0
Of course, I cannot get the fucking circlip on the fucking Alfine, but that's not the biggest issue. Belt line is totally fucked up! I moved the cranks and BB around four times already (inner/outer position, two BB spacers, one spacer, no spacers) and looked at the line so intensely for so long that I can't figure out which way is it now fucked - inside or out :(
Worst of it all is that where I am, no LBS is willing to fix that shit for no amount of money for me as they have no experience with belts etc. Going to have to continue my struggle alone...
