  • The longer Corbyn clings on the worse Labour's prospects. If we elect a new leader and get a good headstart on the tories in rebuilding party unity we could thrash them in the election. If half the PLP LEAVE AND START A NEW PARTY that's it, tory rule for a generation. Are there any Corbyn supporters with a more optimistic view of the party's future with him in charge? Do they care?

    A non-Metropolitan elite unifier (of the wings of the Labour Party),
    who also appeals to the anti-immigrants who comprise the kipper-Tory spectrum?

    Good luck finding that among the chaff of Oxbridge spads who emerged from selection committees in 2010 & 2015.
