trouble signing in

Hey everyone,

I'm having trouble signing in with an old account due to this new sign in method, does anyone know how I can sign in with my old username so I can have my sale history/reputation back?

best bet is to message @Velocio with your old username and email address

Yup, do that.

PM me the old account that was yours (the username), and I'll take a look and if I agree it's you I will swap the emails around and grant your new email access to your old account.

All that has happened is that you've signed in using a different email than the account had... I can fix things like that.

Hi, its good old lethalCB®, havent been here for ages and now I cant seem to login. I have used the microcosm thing before for a good while, so dont really get it. Have I been deleted?

You've signed in with the wrong email. Use your other email.

Same thing is happening for me, signed in using my correct e-mail address but cannot access my old PoppaToppa account. Would be nice to have my old account back. Any suggestions?

Mozilla has stopped developing and supporting its Persona sign-in software (for a long time apparently) so I cannot access lfgss on my mobile (iOS with Safari mobile 9) any more. Up to a couple of weeks ago when I last signed in, it was no problem. But now it says my browser is not supported

@Velocio strange, yesterday I got this message (attached) and now I don't need to sign in with persona at all, it seems to have been done automatically. could it have something to do with using the 'private' browsing mode or the normal mode?

I'm afraid that I don't understand the question.

If you're using an iPhone, then Apple don't actually allow other browsers... even something like Chrome is just a wrapper for Apple's implementation of Webkit. What this does mean is that if you are in private browsing mode on the iPhone, then all of your browsers are affected by this. Private browsing prohibits third party cookies, but this is what is necessary for Persona to work.

So if you are on an iPhone, then you need to disable private browsing.

Additionally, Persona is going away, and I will be replacing it with something new in the near future.

Ah, I just read the prior message... yes, just disable private browsing and it will be fine. Apple are too harsh on their cookie settings, and it prevents sites from working.
