Possibly the film didn't wind on...

what's the camera? could be possible that every frame is chronically underexposed. some camera default to fastest exposure when the battery dies.

I take photographs as a kind of diary. I'm not great with words, and they're my way of remembering places I've been, the things I've done there, and the friends I've done those things with.
I don't really have a pocket-sized camera at the moment, but I do have a small surplus of 120 film, so I've been lugging my gw690 around most of the time. This has been a learning experience, and it's really made me appreciate the convenience of tough, pocket-sized cameras. I'd never dream of carrying the gw690 on a mountain bike ride, and that means I've ended up with 'blank pages' in my diary.
Anyway, here are some snaps from the past few weeks. I've been working as a mechanic for the Pivot Factory race team, and we've been at Fort Bill and Leogang for the World Cup, and Les Gets for Crankworx. Not technically brilliant pictures, and probably not particularly interesting unless you're me, but as with all my photos: they're for me to look at when I get old.Our pits in Leogang, with Paul, the other mechanic, and a good friend from Australia.

Very nice.

It's a Leica m6. Maybe they didn't get wound on. Could it possible from the development?
-
• #11832
If there's absolutely nothing on it yes. If the edge markings are developed properly then it probably wasn't winding on.

Did the full length of the film wind back into the canister? If not, or you're not sure... then i guess it's possible the film either wasn't loaded correctly or the advance mechanism is damaged.

I really like this whole set. Very documentary style and still candid/casual.
The table top one makes me feel all warm and fuzzy. The rider is perfectly isolated on that beautiful backdrop and you see all the setting in the foreground.
Do you use Flickr or anything?

there's no edges it just clear plastic. So this is definitely my own fault and not the film processing shop?

I had it a similar film on a konica, it turned out that the mechanism in the film advance lever was dodgy and was slipping under tension - it worked fine while the back was off and film loading but lacked strength to pull film out of the spool

If by completely clear you mean no index marking / numbers and the leader is also clear, then I'd say it has been fixed before (or without) developing. If you're paying someone else for the development then stern words are possibly in order.

Very nice, just abstract enough to draw you in.

Has anyone got a positive id on a poundland that is stocking vista? I've tried 3 near me and no luck

Just got an L35AF for £1 from an antique shop. Even has a roll of Polaroid C41 in it which I'm kind of nervous to develop.

Ha, nice!

There was a whole box of old cameras, almost all of which were really shit and then I saw that red line...
Exposure comp, ISO dial and filter threads are a really nice touch over the L35AF2 I nicked from my mum.

Right, I've got some RB67 issues. I keep shooting and even when I focus very stringently, the actual focus on the image falls in front of the subject I focused on.
I set up an experiment with the camera and a tape measure - I set the focus to 1.5m according to the guide on the side (180mm lens used). I placed an item (bottle Lea & Perrins) at 1.5m from the front of the lens. I then also placed an item (bread) at the point in focus according to the focusing screen (1.2m).
This suggests that something is wrong with the focusing screen in some way - the guide on the side says the actual focus point is behind where the focusing screen indicates, which explains that even with stringent focusing, the image is out of focus.
I've tried tightening the screws on the springs where the focusing screen mounts as suggested elsewhere, but the adjustment has minimal effect.
Any ideas on a fix?

I'm slimming down my junk/toy camera collection, I know most people here are into more proper toys, but is there any interest? No monies required, but would rather not post. Meet in London.
- Polaroid i-zone (small basic instant camera, film no longer in production so only really good for modding).
- One unused disposable, think it has 24exp colour (from last year's Zumtobel comp)
- Nikon TW Zoom (35-80 plus macro) - requires a Lithium 6V to test, which I can do if anyone's interested in whether or not it works - if it does and you want it, the battery costs £9.
- Lomo Supersampler
- Kiev 35A - tiny clamshell, camerapedia says it is "known for its unreliability and light leaks" and it's not wrong. Tape helps. Needs a slightly obscure 6V round battery, or can take button cells wrapped in card (I lost the sleeve it came with).
- Smena 8M - this actually takes pretty nice photos, is light and robust.
- Holga 120S
- Holga 120GN (I have a remote shutter release adaptor that could go with either of these).
There might also be a basic SLR and zoom lens available for cheaps, I need to dig them out. Nothing special but squeak if you are interested.
Edited to add photos and also apols to @nefarious for random thread sequencing, I'd had the window open for ages without refreshing...

I've got a ton of this if you're willing to wait a week or two I could post it, was shooting film regularly for a while and now not at all so have a bunch of it not doing much

Is there any chance the focusing screen is mounted backwards or that it might be a 3rd party one that sits a bit higher?
-
• #11849
That would be ace. In no rush so I can wait, I'll message you in a week or so?
Hi, real amateur question here..
I just got my B and W negatives back from development and there just isn't anything on the roll it's completely clear.
What does this mean?
