What year was all this bling produced in?
-
• #4
@Dammit not a question, 1997. :) In 96 it was 8 speed, in 98 it had the V2 ergopower shape (which imho sucks compared to previous and following design)
Very nice, in top shape. And it has LOCKRING on the freehub body. Which is a must, as early 9-10-11 speed hubs with non-os axle or hub body used 26mm internal diametre lockring instead of todays 27mm standard (8speed hub used another type, with 29mm diametre)

Heh, did not even know about this. Always thought a lockring is a lockring apart from the 8 speed ones.

I've just unfortunately discovered the older 9 speed campy hub/ 26mm lockring problem vs the newer 27mm one, but they still exist in the market place, at a cost of course.

If you need one, this guy still cuts/gets from somewhere:

I bought one from Mercian, they still have a stock of Campag oddities.

Got a 26mm one for £15 from the Vintage Bike Cave, cheers! They've still got 3 more and priced competitively (a 5a cheaper than Condork).

They only have the the one for the 12t or 13t (whichever the larger flanged lockring one is) and not the seemingly impossible to find 11t fit, so good work finding that, especially at such a good price!

Upon further inspection, the non drive side crank has some scuffing on it, Rear derailleur has a tiny small mark which cant be seen until you look at it up close, seatpost was bought here for cheap so expect some marks and scuffing. Other than those, the groupset is in perfect condition. Shifts magnificently.
The mark on the RD can actually be seen on the photo above.I forgot to mention that it comes with a record cassette as well. I forgot the ratio. Will check it when I get home.

This is currently on a bike frame MX-Leader =D and can be ridden if you want to try the groupset out.

Still don't want to split?
-
• #14
Hey, will only split as a groupset and wheels as a separate at the moment, wont split as individual components. will prefer both of them to go at the same time.
-
• #15
How much are you thinking for letting go of the wheels?
-
• #16
Sorry for the very late reply, completely forgotten about this. Not going to split this unless i have interest in the groupset and wheels. I got the wheels for £280 some weeks ago from here and would love to get the same, if not then price is negotiable but wont be going far from £280.
Thinking around £450'ish for the groupset which will nowcome with two Bottom brackets : Italian Chorus BB, and English Carbon Record BB.Will still be taking swaps for this. Campagnolo 11 speed record groupset, dura ace 9000, Sram red 22. If needed, I can add some cash on top of the swap, but since a dura ace 9000 got sold here for no more than £600, doubt I will be adding anything.

Do you still have all this stuff or has it gone long ago
Collection only from Holloway road
Not posting
Not splitting as I rather get it sold in one go. Would rather keep it than split it. Will be hard I know, but it's a good excuse for me to keep it.
Will take more detailed pictures tomorrow.
Will swap for a Campagnolo Record 11 speed Groupset or SRAM Red 22
**Price for whole bundle : £700
Wheelset : £280
Groupset : £450**
I'm pretty sure I will be regretting this. Groupset is in amazing Condition. No noticeable scuffs or marks, no scratches or anything. Can get away by saying it's NOS in terms of condition. But obviously, it's used.
Titanium Campagnolo Record 9 Speed Groupset
