You didn't went cheap, wheel usually flex when riding out of the saddle, to flex enough to rub on brakes pads sound like it's not well build to begin with, that or you like to run your brakes really close to the rims.
Get it replace under warranty, Askium aren't amazing wheels, but they're still very decent for the money.
11 speed.
They were no good from the start (no word from CRC when I complained though). Rubbed on rear pads when I got out of saddle. Now rear has a slight, but annoying, buckle.
I went way too cheap.
Now I need something more capable, preferably slightly lighter as a bonus, and quick.
