One day you will die, of old age if you are very lucky. Long before then you will watch many of your friends die and maybe your parents if they haven't gone already. Maybe brothers sisters, aunts and uncles. They are old though and so they had it coming. If only Hitler had gotten his way. He wanted to kill the old and disabled for that matter for being of no use. My point isn't that they don't even have to live with the consequences of their decision. Over 65's have, roughly on average, 11 years to live with it.
The under 25's have over on average, 60 years to deal with the consequences.
