Possibly the film didn't wind on...

Did the full length of the film wind back into the canister? If not, or you're not sure... then i guess it's possible the film either wasn't loaded correctly or the advance mechanism is damaged.

If by completely clear you mean no index marking / numbers and the leader is also clear, then I'd say it has been fixed before (or without) developing. If you're paying someone else for the development then stern words are possibly in order.

Hi, real amateur question here..
I just got my B and W negatives back from development and there just isn't anything on the roll it's completely clear.
What does this mean?
