On the bright side, the peeps in Calais will finally get to the UK (if they still want to come).

BBCR5L just cut from Corbyns anti-Tory, anti-Austerity speech for some texted/emailed vox pop opinions and sports news.

I'm building a hidey hole in my house with cable TV, NHL pass and enough coooking gear to make poutine. When they come for you, get to mine. When the revolution happens, remember we're the ones with greater firearms experience and expertise.

and back from the travel news with no reference to the interrupted Corbyn speech.
Seems we're still operating under the Murdoch/Whittingdale rules of only 'Blue' coverage. -

Lots of talk about working class disenfranchisement rather than outright racism. But one may want to ask why the working class those of non-white backgrounds voted overwhelming to remain? Is austerity not hitting them as well?

The rhetoric and lies are beginning to unwind very quickly. It took Farage all of 5 minutes to dismiss the £350million headline. Now the immigration tone is starting to back pedal. Let's face it, if you voted because your fears of Johnny Foreigner things are not going to change, you have not 'stuck it to the man'. * sigh *

but still 'Corbyn's fault' according to the brexit media.

Amazingly many on this forum and many of my friends struggle to overcome the repeated tales of Corbyn's electoral toxicity in the media despite actual electoral and polling results.
He may be unelectable, but I have seen zero evidence of this.

it keeps being repeated and people are swallowing it eh?

They said he was unelectable before he was elected as leader.
He first stood in 1983 and was elected. He has been ever since.
As far as I can tell he's never lost an election.

But has he lost the referendum?

It would be great if this was better promoted, it's a succinct and positive statement, would love to see it in big letters all over town (better if last line was simply "He's never lost an election").

Obviously he lost it. What a cunt. Ruined the country. He only had one job - convert all the working class UKIP and Tory supporters to the Labour movement and convince them to vote remain - and he failed. Cameron and Osborne did their parts perfectly, but Corbyn...

And for this reason alone, stupid people shouldn't be allowed to vote.

^ Likely to be the next myth propagated by the Tories and their media echo chamber.
Two first posts on my Facebook feed thing from two different people (both dirty forrins, obvs):
1) Today: "You're not British."
Me: "Once you pledge your allegiance, you are."
Response: "Not the same, you'll never be British."
2) I asked a brexiteer yesterday now that they had won the vote what their plan was next. The answer: "get rid of you". No joke.
Both in London (and both on here).
