  • Sad to have you back in such circumstances, but wise words

    • it can hardly be worse.

    ^ good until this bit.

  • cheers chaps. presumably that will lead to a coterie of embittered cameronites spending the rest of their worthless political careers trying to get whoever gets elected sacked.

    probably not tho.

    This isn't the Labour party.

  • Latin race?

EU Brexit referendum: France's Calais seeks border deal changes

    Obvious reaction...

  • Everyone I've spoken to in Sweden thinks the uk are fucking insane to leave and that's in a not so liberal small town.

  • I think filthy forrins can say whatever they want in the two years of 'freedom before sinking' of Britain.

  • No, eton and Oxford made Boris. Or was it Cambridge? Same shit. Bullingdon twats club

  • They were probably just desperately trying to stop having to make conversation with a stranger so they could get back to their OCD hobbies. "Yeah, sure! That's crazy! Now please let me go and stack my salted licorice collection by size!"

  • Coz you don't want those French car parts to cost a fortune ;)

  • I'll laugh my arse off if more immigrants/asylum seekers whatever end up here because of the racists voting leave.

  • I'd imagine the Calais camps would disappear, why would the French bother stopping people leaving their country for the UK ? We can't afford to patrol our borders properly as it is, surely illegal immigration is going to massively increase* ?

    • That is if anybody wants to come here after our economy tanks. Ahh ! maybe that was the Brexiters plan all along
  • We have a agreement which costs the tax payer 30million per year to the French to effect police calais as a UK border that still stands in or out the EU. But the french are seriously posed off only a matter of time before diplomatic relations sour and the jungle turns in an even bigger mess as the stick 2 fingers up to UK.

  • The French were threatening to let everyone from The Jungle in Calais over the channel if Brexit won...

I have no idea of the veracity of this...

    But how awesome...

  • Jungle is massive

  • No, she's not entitled to it. She can apply for Irish citizenship if you live there with her. And get a passport that way, it takes a few years I think. But not if you are resident in the UK.

  • Sorry repeating what @MrDrem said.

  • Does this mean that the people who're in the jungle are the junglistic posse?

  • Confusing ideological affinity on the part of the poster, with the content posted, is your problem here.

Saying that, if London can declare independence and take Boris with it then my disappointment in the result of the referendum would be almost obviated.

    Almost.

  • Put out the eyes of the people, reproach them for their blindness, etc.

  • Insular arrogance was not the tactic, you, of course, well know.
Maintenance of ignorance, fear, and hatred was the tactic.

  • The media keeps saying "the London elite don't understand the mentality of the leavers in the provinces.'
Actually, fucking loads of us do. We moved to London to get away from all that bullshit.
