The third of my Merckx purge:
More photos and details on Pedalroom here .
I'm in Cambridge but go into London very often. I can provide more specific photos on demand. Let me know if my prices seem off.
Frameset: Eddy Merckx SLX Pursuit. seattube 57cm ctc, top tube 58cm ctc, 130mm dropouts, 27.2mm seatpost, 700c/650c. This was my first Merckx and although a mish-mash of parts it's really fun. I bought it on here some five years ago but I'm just not using it anymore. The chrome forks aren't original (and are drilled) but I think work well. Some chips in the paint around the frame but otherwise in nice condition. Comes with Shimano UN-55 Italian bottom bracket SOLD (was £190)
Wheelset: 700c/650c. H+Son SL42 rims with System Ex hubs. The front has a brake surface which I taped up with electrical tape once I removed my front brake. Comes with some Vittoria Rubino Pro 23c tyres (used but not in need of immediate replacement). £170
Headset: Campagnolo C-Record. (I needn't have gotten such a classy headset for this bike but it does look great!) SOLD (was £70)
Crankset: Campagnolo Record Pista 170mm 144bcd. £120
Saddle: Concor Supercorsa. SOLD (was £15)
Seatpost: Campagnolo Athena aero. Low price because a bit at the top is broken off (photos here). With a saddle on it's difficult to see and I've never had any problem with it. SOLD (was £10)
Stem & bars: Some 3TTT stem with Nitto RB-018 38cm bars. £35
Lockring: Dura-Ace. SOLD (was £5)
Please, no low-balling. If you don't want to pay the price, keep an eye on the thread as the price could go down.
