Jelly of #slackermiles - it looked great today. Unfortunately I was working all day having worked all night and all the day before...
I think the problem there is the lack of carbs, you should be eating carbs before and during a ride, not protein. Protein after. Did you want a serious answer?
Bike looks good and nothing wrong with a long cage derailleur if you're planning to ride up some proper hills on it. Amount of seatpost cray cray but I guess top tube would be too long otherwise?

wow yes, I can imagine you guys being extremely busy. Yes, I did want a serious answer. Been giving the keto diet a try. I feel--apart from yesterday--better than ever, and I've done other rides and been fine. This is why it felt wrong and strange. Unlike yourself, Mr Fox, I'm not a whippet, 100kg when I started, down to 96 now, but I agree it is probably the carb thing. Maybe I should ease off the long rides until I hit my target weight, then introduce some healthy carbs and aim to maintain.
The plan is to get fitter on it and then start attacking hills hence the derailleur. Regarding the seatpost I had a bikefit at Condor and this is the result. One size up would obviously be ideal but it doesn't exist sadly.... ( I have long legs, toptube is fine, with a 120mm stem)
<3 slackermiles deep in Ukip country.
Not sure what happened with my nutrition, all I ate today was a cheesy omelette in the morning, nuts along the way and 4 bidons of water with nuun over the 100km. Vomited 3 times on the train back.
