  • Kai with a mile to go... 4th (or, 1st if you're, like, err, following the rules)

  • Our lad is in Kentucky! Bourbon time!

  • Rules are for 4th place finishers.

  • Winners, you mean?

  • Where's Our Lads photos of foods-that-you-probably-shouldn't-eat-to-fuel-an-extreme-endurance-event-with gone?

  • Pis coming;) destroed iPhone in Kansas storm. New septic phone (ZTE????) Unfathomable. Hit by a second intense storm last night in Kentucky (dukes of hazard was a documentary) took shelter and fell asleep in roadside house porch, woken by an irrte hpuseowner waving a rifle

  • Ha that's funny. For all the nice people out there, there are some not so nice!

    America crazy!

  • Sarah's finished.

Not sure I'd be choosing random porches in the US to sleep on. Mad bastard!

  • @user49586 is about 80 miles form the end.

  • Thanks for the update on him. Awesome work!

It'll be a very respectable 13th place finish.

  • He's doing so well, can he actually get a forum name instead of a number now? I think he's earned it.

  • Good stuff and hopefully should just squeak under the 24 days.

    Brilliant!

  • Congratulations @user49586

  • Why is he not bouncing yet?

  • Bounce damn you!

  • Does he have to go back and do it again?

  • Guess so.

    He must've missed a bit...

  • oh well, thems the breaks I suppose

  • Thanks all, recovering with a big eatathon, at 2 restaurants at the same time, 1st is slow service so nipped over to a fast food joint whilst I wait.

  • I pinged him about that before he set off... but then realised I was actually late and he was already in the US prepping.

  • Skillzā„¢

  • Ouch

  • Wayne Kurtz is in Virginia a few hundred miles from the end. He's been taking it as a long training session for continuous double-deca ironman later this year, so has been posting lots of pictures and generally just enjoying himself. Got knocked off by a fox at one stage, but not badly hurt and otherwise seems to have had a fine time.

  • They'll have to cover a fair bit of that won't they? Insurance anyway. I can't imagine anyone would be daft enough to do TABR without any form of insurance.
