  • Over 2 million people have just been told by a voting majority of the English public to fuck off back to where they came from.

That's extraordinary. Whether it comes to that (many will leave willingly, others will hopefully be given legal right to remain) is a different question. This is what the voters have called for.

I don't want to think of the other examples where such a large population has been told to fuck off in this way.

  • The guardian has >,< 15pp majority

  • Scotland, as far as I know, is not forgetting about NI. It seems more considerate than Westminster who is selling us down the river of Kincora, money, flags and so on.

A positive future depends on what you want. IF Scotland can pay to go alone, they can live more within their values (Westminster is just too neocon atm). You are right there.

NI and Wales cannot pay for go alone.
ROI I don't think has the cash atm...I don't know if it's good for NI but that may work out. Or we can join with Scotland.

But Wesminster calling the shots and caring only about the south of England may now have endangered the whole of the UK. Worst case, Scotland leaves, NI leaves to join up with ROI/Scotland but things don't work out, England needs to take it back or doesn't and there is mass exodus. Bye bye UK.

It's happened, and it's usually been a bit more "gunny".

  • Lefties on my facebook: Nothing to do with racism or immigration, it's a protest vote.

Hm. We don't know do we? All those people were not asked exactly what they thought, perhaps a good majority does not want shitty rules or people going back. But do they get the "non xenophobic" option?

A map of labour/tory voting overlaid with exit voting may help?

  • Good effort but your card is marked now.

  • Everybody's racist to degrees; it's human nature to be wary of people who are visually and audibly separate, or to take preference. Would you rather your plumber was a Pole or an Afghan, Hindu or Scientologist, from Liverpool or London?
There isn't actually enough genetic variation within the human race for 'race' to stand up as legitimate taxonomy, so we're talking cultural differences, which are legion and not confined to notions of state, colour of skin, language, etc...

  • I shall be applying for an Irish passport pronto

  • If you're Irish, your kids can get a passport even if they're born in the UK and never even set foot in Ireland. Contact the Irish embassy in w12 and ask for forms.

  • Hindus dont plumb, its way below us.

  • I for one can't bloody wait to go trawling for cod.

  • roofers then?

  • fair .. but what if there is a bath in the loft conversion? keanu.jpg

  • I'm going to set up a Hoover modding business, get those fuckers over revved to pull 15kW.

Anyone fancy a job with me? No contract, no sick pay, obvs.

  • Is your Dad still in France? Probably going to get kicked out then....

  • he's had his house out there for 22 years now, reckon he could probably get citizenship. his missus still lives in essex though so he can come back if need be.

  • Being optimistic now - perhaps London won't turn into Dubai now. People will be and to afford to continue to live here. Domestic arts and culture will thrive.

  • As long as we can use tally sticks and barter for said art and culture.

  • Yeah but it's alright for you, some of us only have experience of working in offices and wouldn't survive out in the real world with our puny cyclist arms.

  • Slow hand clap

Do those who think we should be nice to the poor misguided saps still think that we should be nice to the poor misguided saps?

Now that we're a role model for Marine Fucking Le Pen?!

  • my grandparents are from NI, can I haz one

  • Right, cheered up now I've listened to 'Won't Get Fooled Again', again.
Been down to Toolstation and bought my pitchfork.
Who are we rounding up first:
    1) EU immigrants
    2) non-EU immigrants
    3) 'experts'?

  • I'm just thinking that with your stripy blue top and round glasses you could make a good living selling onions from your bike.

  • ^^^Yes.
