Everybody's racist to degrees; it's human nature to be wary of people who are visually and audibly separate, or to take preference. Would you rather your plumber was a Pole or an Afghan, Hindu or Scientologist, from Liverpool or London?
There isn't actually enough genetic variation within the human race for 'race' to stand up as legitimate taxonomy, so we're talking cultural differences, which are legion and not confined to notions of state, colour of skin, language, etc... -

To put things in perspective my father was an immigrant (albeit as a small boy in the 40's), he's also a massive racist cunt who voted out because of 'all the immigrants'.
