I'm sure you're right. But there's something else too, isn't there? Isn't there the notion that their positive visualisations just don't involve England, Wales or Northern Ireland? That that project is over for them; that whatever destination they have in mind is going to be reached a lot faster without all the hassle of Westminster.

Scotland is in a tricky situation if they vote to exit the UK and apply for EU membership. The Spanish will veto, as they will not want to encourage the Basques and Catalans...

To put things in perspective my father was an immigrant (albeit as a small boy in the 40's), he's also a massive racist cunt who voted out because of 'all the immigrants'.

The idea/hope is that they may not need to apply now. England is leaving, Scotland is remaining.

I'm half scottish, hope that counts for something when they set sail.
