• I agree with you, and I think the half of the country that voted leave are insane for jeopardising - maybe destroying is a better word - that standard of living. The British economy is, sorry, was, doing well.

    @Skydancer is right though, this is about relative inequality. Just look at the list of areas that voted leave in order of majority, all places that couldn't be further from us remainers in London (either literally or metaphorically) and who have not benefited in the same way we have.

  • I grew up and went to school in the north west, but unlike the dullards I left behind I realised that I could get on a train and go to London.

  • Isn't there something wrong with a country where you have to get on a train to London to do well though? If we had a more geographically balanced economy I'm not sure this would ever have happened.

  • I also grew up in the north west and came to London. Not everyone wanted to or were able to do that. Why should they?

    Calling this majority of people dullards or racists isn't helpful. It's time to listen, to talk and to build, literally and figuratively. And to redistribute our wealth more equally and fairly
