I'm sorry, but that is rot. There is a section of society affected by austerity and slow growth, but the vast majority of British people enjoy a better standard of living than that enjoyed at any other time in the arc of human history.

It's relative gap between rich and poor rather than standard of living that is the problem. It's also the relative difference in investment in infrastructure, of schools hospitals houses transport in different areas in the UK.

Have they seen the standard of living of most people in the rest of the world? People have been deluded into thinking that everyone can live like a premier league footballer, and that they have a right to it because they are fucking English.
