  • Turnout in NI shite it seems. Hopefully it's picking up and everyone was just at work n stuff.

  • Just overheard a conversation about the referendum at the pub, two out of a group of five were voting out for no particular reason that I could discern, on mentioned they were doing it for their children, made by piss boil. So wanted to verbally wade in but left them to it, they'd already voted so no point..

  • I heard that from one of my students, who is a Leave volunteer in Tottenham, of all places. They didn't have many volunteers at first, but then realised they had a bit more support on the doorstep than they anticipated, and put more resources there.

I don't think (with the Leave campaign anyway) it's just a case of people wandering round their neighbourhoods, it seems a lot more targeted and well-drilled than that. Which is worrying.

  • The majority of these people who wants out, not only in UK, is dictated by their guts, not matter what they say if they say... and the lowest common denominator between all of them has roots in racism. Some of them may don't even know.

  • Absolutely could be right. Was just going by my experience with remain.

  • Exit bingo:

    Eu undemocratic
    Immigrants / racism
    Sovereignty
We get all the monies with no costs
Eu is racist we are not
    Corruption in eu
    Federal EU
We can vote politicians out not in eu
    Change! (With no plan b)

    😉

  • Scottish turnout may be as high as 80%.

    This is good.

  • I just had a knock on the door- Remainers checking that I and me Julie had voted.

  • Was in Scotland yesterday - more Leave sentiment than I had imagined, although I am including cab drivers in my sample.

  • Labour just knocked on mine to check/ask, I asked to see the list of names (how they had my name?) and apparently i'm a "Key Labour Target"

  • Not sure I'd be happy being the key target of anyone other than Natalie's Imbruglia or Portman.

  • "Key Labour Target" = someone who'd be deported if the exit idiots win

  • 1/6 Remain now. Brexit ain't gonna happen. I'll go 58% Remain

  • Out in deepest Essex, it's (sadly) very much shouty angry VOTE LEAVE everywhere.
Although the local train station had 2 guys handing out 'Billericay Beer Festival' flyers. #VoteBeer

  • My piss has been simmering all day , all week ,all year having had to listen to the people I work with spout misinformed in or out decisions based on their defeated political impotence/mistrust of politics so that all that they can identify with is lowest common denominator signals - e.g. immigrants

  • I was in Billericay the other day (couldn't get the Ian Dury song or of my head) and saw a little beer shop that looked really good.

  • I wrote an article for a local Cambridge mag last week, published next week, and predicted 58% remain, so you cant have that too. Choose another number please.

  • My work 'wife' is all Hanging Gardens of Basildon ...

  • You won't have this one.

Someone on Facebook saying that they didn't have confidence in our leaders to negotiate with the EU. Someone else pointed out that if we left the EU they'd have to negotiate with everyone ...

watch if you haven't, and vote remain.

  • Lord Upminster!

There's a boozer in Upminster with a wall covered in pictures of Ian Dury.

  • Don't fucking jynx it!

  • If ever there was a need for some clever bastards its now.

  • Probably still need help from their Mums though.

  • Farage calling it as a Stay win.
