Hi people, I have just taken ownership of a vaguely aero, steel Berma frame. The gear shifter lugs are mounted on top of the down tube (rather than on the sides) and the cables are routed through the frame's tube. At the bottom bracket the cable exits have a small diameter plastic outer to guide the cable and protect the frame, however at the entrance by the shifters, there isn't any. My question is, should there be a similar outer at the top as there is at the bottom or does the cable run naked at the point of entry from the shifters?
Thanks for your help, Dallas.
