• Space permitting of course...

  • What is the bcd and crank length?

  • youghart

That's a word I always want to spell incorrectly, but not that incorrectly :-)

In English, there are several variations of the spelling of the word, including yogurt, yoghurt and to a lesser extent yoghourt, yogourt, yaghourt, yahourth, yoghurd, joghourt, and jogourt

All those choices, and you managed to invent a new variant

  • So many options and I still got it wrong. Good effort I think.

  • I think I was watching that as well :0

Strictly speaking I'm looking for 110, 175 though.

  • Been lurking and trying to learn about power meter on this thread, and I've finally committed to buy one this evening.

I've decided to go with power2max type s for my rotor 3D plus, what's the process with power2max, I've placed an order but I have nowhere to pay yet but either bank transfer or Paypal. I went with bank transfer, is that safe?

And anyone knows what happens next, aka @eyebrows @Howard?

  • You'll get an email, probably tomorrow, to confirm your order and with instructions for payment. Chill yourself.

  • Nice one.

I paid via PayPal, so can't help on the bank transfer thing.

I think they email you with details for the bank transfer.

Grab a copy of Training and Racing With A Power Meter while you wait.

  • Sorry, Kinda a drunk moment buy, hence the moment of painic, hopefully this will be a good investment :/

  • Cool, I kinda need it for next Saturday for a service, but let's see what's what! :)

    Thanks @hovis @TTM

  • I'm pretty sure I had to wait 2 or 3 weeks for mine.

  • They've responded, but asked do I need the special which assemble the powermeter, I assume I didn't need it right?

  • Do you mean the tool to attach the spider to your cranks? If you already have one, then no you don't. But you will need it to assemble the PM. And Loctite.

  • Can't help you there, I have the sram version.

  • Yeah you will almost certainly need the spider tool to remove the spider and fit the p2max one. Also a vice to hold it in.

As mentioned it will almost certainly take 2 weeks to arrive. As I think they are made to order.

  • Dammit!! I sorta need it now! :/

  • Do you think some bike shops will have it?

  • Doubtful. I've got it the 110 bcd one, and others on here have them.

  • NM.
I run the di2 cables externally. Which I'll do. But I can't use stages. Just too shit.

  • it'll cover some miles

    Ha!

  • My P2M has done maybe 15,000 miles now. Still going strong.

Worth a shot. I don't mind running my di2 cables externally. It's not the end of the world. That would be using a stages!

  • I was only joshing. Master of understatement.

If I had more than my one, I'd offer it up.

  • I'd be happy to trade my SRM too. But that's 130bcd 53/39 but 24mm axle.
My P2M is 110bcd 30mm axle. But I've got all the bottom brackets to fit any of them to anything.

  • @owlz has the spider removal tool I think.

    Also Loctite.
