  • There is a red one of these parked near where I work, dribble every time as it drives by. . Between this and the 959 are my two dream porkas. Very jealous.

  • I can't believe what happened to Toyota. Genuinely upsetting.

Would love to make it over there next year. Must have been great.
    Did you get much sleep?

  • yes the Toyota mishap, made for a very exciting finale!

    sleep, hmm..

arrived weds - drank, watched evening practice
    thurs - drank, watched practice
fri - no cars on track, watched parade, drank
sat - wet start to race at 3pm, drank, zoned in and out until about 4am
sun - up at 8am, went and watched remainder of race, drank
mon - packed up in the rain, and had a few beers, and had some more during the enforced Eurotunnel fuck up

  • Expect cold in about 48hrs. :o)

  • Sweeeeeeeet black with gold wheels Elise S2 tearing up Old St this morning, big wing, looked track-y, someone on her must know of it

  • A pic of that Porker was tweeted by Hunter Skipworth from evo on it's way through stoke newington, turns out he's a fixielord

  • Who was talking about now being time for a ratty early Boxter?

  • Hefty, in advice to me

  • My dad had a 912, right-hand drive and very 70's beige. I think he sold it in 1977 when my sister was born, and I think he still slightly kicks himself about getting rid of it.

  • new ford gt unveiled across from our encampment at maison blanche

  • I can't bear that bloke. He's a simpering, sycophantic, brown-nosing gibbon.

  • tim burton/shmee - yes - he had to do lots and lots of takes in the compound as several unidentified wellwishers kept shouting "CUNT!" ... ;)

  • How bad would two grands worth of early Boxter be?

  • I'm in the US at the moment and they seem a lot cheaper than in the UK

  • and tell me, who drives a lambo hurricane to LM, then camps in a blow-up festie tent?

    #doinitwrong

  • Did you go and have a look at the brown one?

  • I was overtaken by an F40 down Gower St this morning. No pics though :(

  • Unless you're very lucky or the seller is a bit daft it'll need £3k spending to make it the same as a £5k car and you'll wish you just got the £5k one in the first place.

  • I see, but what if I had plenty of time and wanted to show it a bit of Rod Emory treatment?

  • Then you'd be my kinda guy.

  • And mine.

  • Emory Boxster?

    Sounds so wrong.

  • I have the time and I've been making the space at my parents.

The old man was highly unimpressed when I sold some furniture that I had deemed to be "in the way. He wasn't so upset when I gave him the cash.

I'd like something where the body is sound (not a deal breaker because I'd get it painted anyway) and I can work on slowly stripping all the unnecessary heavy shite out of it.

I know that it'll be a labour of love, but there are plenty of breakers around that'll have suitable bits and bobs available.
