I can't believe what happened to Toyota. Genuinely upsetting.
Would love to make it over there next year. Must have been great.
Did you get much sleep? -

My dad had a 912, right-hand drive and very 70's beige. I think he sold it in 1977 when my sister was born, and I think he still slightly kicks himself about getting rid of it.

I can't bear that bloke. He's a simpering, sycophantic, brown-nosing gibbon.
-
• #28664
tim burton/shmee - yes - he had to do lots and lots of takes in the compound as several unidentified wellwishers kept shouting "CUNT!" ... ;)

How bad would two grands worth of early Boxter be?

I'm in the US at the moment and they seem a lot cheaper than in the UK

I was overtaken by an F40 down Gower St this morning. No pics though :(

Unless you're very lucky or the seller is a bit daft it'll need £3k spending to make it the same as a £5k car and you'll wish you just got the £5k one in the first place.

I see, but what if I had plenty of time and wanted to show it a bit of Rod Emory treatment?
-
• #28672
Then you'd be my kinda guy.

And mine.

I have the time and I've been making the space at my parents.
The old man was highly unimpressed when I sold some furniture that I had deemed to be "in the way. He wasn't so upset when I gave him the cash.
I'd like something where the body is sound (not a deal breaker because I'd get it painted anyway) and I can work on slowly stripping all the unnecessary heavy shite out of it.
I know that it'll be a labour of love, but there are plenty of breakers around that'll have suitable bits and bobs available.
There is a red one of these parked near where I work, dribble every time as it drives by. . Between this and the 959 are my two dream porkas. Very jealous.
