I had one of these when I was a nipper. Pretty sure I shouldn't have been trusted to self administer as it was pretty fun using it and re-loading to see the wee wheel spin round. Not sure it gave me any athletic advantage battering about the school yard but this could and should be an admissible excuse for any pro athlete today caught huffing on their salbutamol....

Let's Run seem to think there's more coming about Mo/Salazar/Aden, and lol, Nike.
http://www.letsrun.com/news/2016/06/everything-need-know-jama-aden-doping-raid-took-place-three-dibaba-sisters-present/Coming Soon: Aden’s Association with Nike, Mo Farah and Alberto Salazar
We’ll have much more on this story in the days to come. We’ll talk about Aden’s association with Nike, Mo Farah, and Alberto Salazar.
All of Aden’s athletes in the photo below appear to be sponsored by Nike and we can’t think of any athletes that he coaches who aren’t (although he is also the Qatari national coach so presumably there have to be some who aren’t sponsored by Nike). Aden also praises Nike products on his facebook page. We have reached out to Nike to verify if he is a Nike coach. In the meantime, read this thread on the messageboard: Is Jama Aden A Nike Coach?
Like Aden, Mo Farah is Somali-born and their relationship may be deeper than has been reported in English press. As for Salazar, we’ll share an email that Aden sent to Salazar giving him the specifics of some of the workouts his stars were doing. More on those things in the near future. We don’t want to overwhelm you all at once. -

The story was reported in El País, which quoted the Catalan interior minister, Jordi Jané, as saying that the banned blood booster EPO was found in six rooms along with anabolic steroids and 60 syringes. Six doctors from the IAAF, athletics’ world governing body, and officials from the Spanish Anti-Doping Agency were also present to carry out doping controls on 25 athletes.
Sounds like a late 1990s cycling bust. Athletes breaking world records and none of them testing positive...doesn't sound like the testing regime is working particularly well here.

Hmmm.

Meanwhile British Athletics has rushed to clarify Farah’s relationship with Aden, saying it extended only to shouting out times as Farah did laps round the track in the Ethiopian town of Sululta in 2015.
Gotta get a specialist in to shout out lap times.

It sounds like members of british athletics are running round like headless chickens .

Super strong and fast headless chickens.

headless
How do they hear the guy shouting the lap times?
-
• #5189
Hmmm indeed. I feel it isnt enough data or the race isnt long enough, or they haent doped the cyclysts up to their eyeballs enough.
Is it not also about recovery etc etc etc.
Makes me think you should probably give drug placebos to cyclists (maybe only ex dopers will have the right moral fibre). Say that this is new and completely undetetable and will make then 20% faster. Then see how good the placebo effect is!

Is that the easiest way to get the chicken blood out for injection?

I saw the trial protocol for this study through work, I can't say I think it's great for them to be pre-releasing results before it's gone through peer review.

I would say alot of BA staff rely on our wonder runner much like jamaica and usain and without the celebrities people will not be interested in the olympics although obviously thats not what it is meant to be but what the ioc have made it.

Dan Martin's girlfriend has just shocked the Olympic selection 10 k race by smashing 83 seconds from her PB to come 17 seconds inside the qualifying time.
She ran a faster pace than both her 3,000 and 5,000 m pb times and it's raising some eyebrows in athletics.

Wasn't this a few weeks ago? She's young too isn't she, so wouldn't you expect her times to improve as she matures?

EPO of no effect in bike races
That's clearly rubbish.
My normal hemocrit is around 43. If I boosted that with EPO to 50, I'd be on another fucking planet.
