  • After a long internal battle with myself, fighting against the urge to get a PS4 as it pisses me off having to pay to access the servers, my lovely wife has bought me one for our anniversary.....still, I can get back to shooting baddies again now!

  • Pretty sure i have one, brand new in box.

  • Yeah, dunno about having to find food and weapons either... I think it's due in 2017

  • Allegedly, this is running in real time at 1440p... Looks great... Just a graphics engine demo but still impressive...

  • Just bought and started playing Stardew Valley and can see my business crumbling by the wayside.

Spent a good hour just clearing weeds, rocks, trees.

If only actual gardening was this satisfying.

  • Many fond memories of Harvest Moon are tempting me into this

  • Fallout 4... I'm stuck. In power armour everything seems pretty easy at level 58. WIthout armour I'm dead in seconds. I've no idea what gear to wear.

That said, still enjoying it a hundred hours in! I've decided I probably should do the main quest lines, but no clue who to side with.

  • Oh and Limbo is free on steam right now

  • Managed to get controller from Sould (thank you).

Now after the basic Xbox One headset, if anyone got one and doesn't play online, I'll gladly buy it of you.

    Thanks!

  • I totally forgot to look! Sorry.

    I'll try to remember tonight.

  • Great game, recommended

  • Spent most of yesterday mining and meeting dwarfs and selling grapes and watering my corn crop and seeing my life flash before my eyes.

  • Want to play this so badly, am slowly working through Ico and Shadow of the Colossus, and if this gets decent reviews may get a ps4 to play it.

  • damn, i binned one on sunday.

for what it's worth this one is well worth the £35 btw. comes with the £15 adapter that lets you use any headphones and is comfortable for longer sessions.

  • Thinking of getting one of those Steam Link things.

    Controller - thoughts?

  • @DragunovCZ1

(btw. still looking for Xbox One Overwatch players)

picked it up on friday eve as I knew I was destined for a mopey weekend feeling depressed at home cos of brexit. Really enjoying it so far. have gotten the hang of lucio, junkrat, and torgeir. had a crack at reinhardt but without a capable healer he can get fucked up too quickly

    GT is CiqalaB

bit surprising how few people use voice comms on it though, in about 6-7 hours play only about 5 people I've heard have had mics and to a man they were all

    a) french
    b) had someone else in the room talking
    c) had a screaming child/baby in the background

sadly the voice comms comes out on the non-headphone audio as well so there was no escaping it and you dont get enough time to get into the options to turn it off between matches.

  • Steam controller is decent but takes some getting used to. Especially after 5 years on Xbox.

  • Playing with this after years, still amazing.

  • fucking hard though. used to play the GC version portrait on an old rotatey monitor I had, now I settle for cropped on the xbox. Never got good at it; there are some mental youtubes of people storming through it out there.

  • Finished a few times, but only on easy mode and can only get chain points right on first level, so yeah, I'm rubbish.
Still one of the best shoot'em up ever made.
From Treasure I love bangai-o (dreamcast, or the remake for NDS) and Sin and Punishment (downloaded on wii).
Incredible how short these games are and still you need dozens of hours to get bored.

  • These various options to play PC games in a different room (Steam link, Nvidia game stream, etc), are they any good?

Will be on a wired network so that shouldn't be an issue. How do controllers work (I'm currently using an xbox controller) if the PC is in a different room?

  • I can't be of much help but Steam Links were on sale recently.
I've tried in home streaming Mac > PC and PC > Mac and it didn't work too great, but that was over wifi.
I wanted to achieve the same thing as you and in the ned just built the smallest "PC" I could so it would fit in the record cabinet under my TV.

  • this now an 80s coin op music thread.

    top that.

  • ^ @>>>>>> had some MP3s of gamey tunes he made years ago. I remember them being quite good. Post them, Joe.
